I have finally got my 3 Mobile w850i back after nearly a month of waiting (3 days short to be exact) which is extremely poor service considering I am on a £35 a month contract and wasn't allowed a replacement phone for the duration of the repair. The nice men/women at the repair centre also decided they would delete all my messages, photos, contacts, music, videos most of which had been paid for and had no way of making a backup.
Fortunately I have the iPhone to keep me in contact with the world but it does have it's downside. The problem is with it checking my emails every 15 minutes I also feel the urge and need to reply to them even if it's late at night. I am going to have to discipline myself into not answering emails after a certain time otherwise it's going to take hold of me and become another facebook addiction.
I have been at nzime for the past 3 days doing coding work whilst Darren is on jury duty. Also winding Anna up with the remote control helicopters and Airzooka, that surprisingly has a huge range (In excess of 10 metres).
Yesterday I decided to reinstall the BTHomeHub firmware to 6.2.6B and it seems to be running stable at the moment. I will just need to see if it automatically updates to 6.2.6E and doesn't break in the process, as I am in no mood to spend a hour on the phone to BT again.
I phoned my landlord today and had a go at them for leaving my room unlocked and also breaching their contract by not giving us 24 hours notice before showing people round the house. They apologised to me a lot and ensured me my room wouldn't be left unlocked again that they would phone me to arrange any viewings of the property.
All in all today has been a productive day. I am now going to put American Pie Beta House in the laptop and relax with a cup of tea.
